Dash-cam; internal lighting panel access issues

Hopefully an easily answered question from those knowledgeable in such things.

To neatly gain access to positive and ground supplies in the roof mounted centre front interior light panel [for dashcam feeds] I am looking at uncoupling this unit's plug and socket so ideally I can take it away into my workshop whilst making the required connections.

I am trying to avoid using ScotchLocks or if possible soldering within the car with thats difficulties and risks, or the classic routing the cable all round the window.

Will uncoupling and later recoupling this panel set off any other issues in the vehicles complex electronics?

Thanks as ever to those helpful people here for their support.

No issue with the electronics but its more usual to take the +ve feed from the fuse box using a piggy back fuse.
