Under Steering Wheel Trim Panel Removal
I need to get the big panel off under the steering wheel as the little vent flaps have become dislodged.
Does it just pull off at the top? Don't want risk breaking anything.
Help much appreciated please.

Pull at the top, it's kind of clipped in at the bottom (not really clipped, more like just resting)
Pull the top outward, it's held in by two clips, which will most likely spring off....Bodsys Brake Bible

Women don't seem to like the cooling effect quite so much. Mine doesn't close.

There's a good YouTube vid for precisely this job. I used it to get to the brake light switch when it failed on holiday this summer.

All sorted, a sharp tug at the top was required and it made a noise like something was breaking but was able to take the panel indoors, sort out the crotch flap and reinstall the panel in no time at all.
Fixed!
My first repair done.

Anybody know where I can get a replacement crotch vent as mines broken or do you have to buy the whole cover thing? mines dark grey/black to go with black leather interior.
