This sounds rather like a fault I have (had?) on my D4. It came on only when towing and when using the "resume" function on the cruise control, when going up a stiff hill. Main Dealer changed a lot of stuff under waranty but never got to the bottom of it. Despite the red/yellow triangle and the "Performance Restricted" message it still charged off up these hills, leaving no codes behind. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
