Advice regarding Travall half height cargo/dog guard |
|
I wonder if someone with one of these can give me a bit of a steer on getting this in and out with least effort? The instructions suggest to fully assemble it outside the car then pass it in through the rear tailgate. I didn't seem to be able to do that and had to remove the side wings then reassemble it inside but I may be doing it wrong so any help appreciated. Also, the best way to remove it quickly. Oh and it seems a great bit of kit!
Thanks 8)

I just put mine in at an angle. Don't ask me what angle as every time I do it I forget how I did it the last time and spend 10 minutes swearing before accidentally finding the right way again and promising myself to remember it for next time.

As above, try it with the rear seats folded, then the Head Rests are out of the way, makes it a bit easier, in through the rear, sideways over to the offside door, start to take the other end toward the near side door whilst turning it to its upright position. When in, fit the roller cover and return the seats to the correct position. Very rarely remove ours as it's not the easiest or quickest manoeuvre to make, so tend to leave it in.

Massive pain in the . V fiddling and different every time !
Also can't leave mine in with the dog crate as both don't fit. James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.
