Can Xenon lights XBC500052 & XBC500042 be fitted?

My car currently has standard lights. A shed clearance I helped with has yielded two head lamp units with part numbers XBC500052 & XBC500042 (Orange indicators). Could I try them out by just plugging them into my standard halogen light 55 plate car or do they need extra electronics or a software upgrade?

Plug in, they'll work, you'll get a slight flicker on start up, that's removed when the CCF is edited to stated Xenons are fitted Thumbs Up

CCF = car configuration file, the setting in the ECUs of what options the car has, diagnostic tools like the IID tool can edit and change these, things like adding Xenons, heated seats, front fog lights and many many more settings Thumbs Up

Xenons are generally brighter Thumbs Up

Better for the sharper cut-off and wider beam; worse for the higher colour temperature and poorer colour rendering, so swings and roundabouts. Thumbs Up

best to have the xenons off in fog, and just fog lights on.
