So I have found a D4 I'm interested in, 2010 full landrover history, 85,000 on clock but have checked the history all okay. The one that has got me is when I did the HPI check with the RAC, it's coming up as a 3.0tdv6 245bhp yet the disco has a 3.0sdv6 badge on the back. Are the 3.0tdv6 engines twin turbos? Also in the history landrover changed the PDF on the last service, I though only the SD engines have a PDF? Most confused!! Any advice welcome.

All 3.0 Lt are twin turbo.
It's actually quite straightforward. Regardless of what the V5 (or hpi) says and regardless of what the badge says, if it is a UK car and it isn't a commercial model then if it has a stick shift it's a 245bhp 6 speed. If it has a rotary shift it's a 255bhp 8 speed, same engine just slightly different mapping.
All 255 BHP models have a dpf. Some 245 BHP models do, some don't, depending on exactly when in 2010/11 they were produced.

Thank you, read some other feeds on here, and going by VIN number it looks like it has a PDF. But I'm also walking away from it, have done a HPI check and outstanding HPI on it even though garage telling me other wise. Rang the credit company who are adiment there still out standing. Sothe search continue!!
