3rd row seat removal

Does anyone know how or if you can remove to 3rd row of seats on a D3 ?

Is there anyway to fill in the gaps when the seats are removed i.e storage boxes or a boot mat ?

Thanks

Took mine out ~7 years ago. Not a difficult job but the seats are piggin heavy and not rigid, they are difficult to carry. Re room under there, there's naff all. If you're doing it for storage room you're going to be disappointed. Thumbs Up

I am only really doing it as I don't need them and I don't want all the extra weight, did you just put a rubber mat down to fill the gaps ?

I took them out to fix a load deck for camping. Means I can bolt down what I where I want. Was also handy for renovating a house with all the crap I had to take to the tip.

If it's just to save lugging weight around I wouldn't bother. It's a big heavy car, taking 50kgs of seats out is going to save square route of naff all. Thumbs Up
