Hello,
Looking for some help. Out in Cyprus and in depth or knowledge is hard to find.
Just had my car in for brakes and a valet.
Got her back and the stereo / Bluetooth / anything sound related is non existent. All appears to be working fine bar audio. I checked the fuse for the amp and it looks good.
I think the battery may have been off for some reason as I had the signs on initial switch on.
Car is fine and no errors on dash.
Any ideas. What about battery off and on again??
Thanks Jamie

Blackbox Solutions (the maker of the Nanocom) are based in Cyprus. According to their website, the address is: Blackbox Solutions Ltd. 3 Spyrou Loui, Ayios Spyridonas, Limassol, 3051 Cyprus. No idea if they can help or even if they offer support in this way, but they are at least in the same country. They may be of use.

What does the stereo display show - is it a "stopped clock"?
If it's the normal "battery has been disconnected so I'm not working" thing then the trick is to pull the radio fuse (not the amp) with power going to it (i.e. ignition on), count to 5 then put it back in. It should all come back on.
From memory, I think it's fuse 53 in the fusebox behind the lower glove compartment.

Hi all,
The stereo appears as it should. All buttons function as they should. CD's change, (i can hear them moving when the button i pressed) radio stations retune. Volume knob makes the display show increasing / decreasing digits when turned. There is just no sound from the speakers. It is the same for blue tooth, sat nav, audio control etc etc
I have a nano com unit from Ian in Limassol. I shall plug that in and see what is what.
I know Audio worked fine prior to going in to garage. I left it there for two weeks whilst on holiday. Unfortunately its not a LR garage or even indy. Its an all round garage.
Thanks for help so far. Ill try the stereo fuse tom morning.

I had the same problem i.e everything looked to be working OK, but no sound. It ended up being the HK amp under the driver's seat. It had power on it, and light in the MOST cables - but was u/s. The amps are not cheap - and make sure you get the right one, there are two types.

Same for me - hard reset fixed it
Ps. IID reset did not effect a repair, had to do the physical joining of leads.

Jamie,
I have both Nanocom and IID - tried both but found the only thing that worked was the hard reset. If I were you I'd try that first then Nanocom if it doesn't resolve it.

Yes I checked on the nano com and I had multiple errors regarding speaker circuits. One for each speaker by the looks. I wiped them and then thought about copying fault codes !! This didn't help.
I think it's a hard reset. Can any one send me a link to an idiots guide?
I've never done one. I had a quick search and found lots of references to a hard reset but no instructions.
Thanks all

It's simple - turn car off and wait for it to go to sleep ( at least 2 mins), disconnect the negative lead, disconnect the positive lead, short both the negative and positive leads together with a decent spanner or similar.
DO NOT SHORT the battery terminals, only short the leads.
Hold short in place for at least 30 secs, then reconnect the battery and proceed as normal.
WiKi link here http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Hard_Reset
Hope it sorts it
