Discovery 3 rear brake pads

Hi all.

The rear pads need changing on my 2005 D3. Should I go oem land rover as I'd heard they had been redesigned to stop that squeaking noise when starting to wear.

If so any idea on the part number and best place to purchase?

Much appreciate your input. Also any comments on disc replacement would be good as they may also need changing.

Cheers.

Andy

If your swapping discs - consider the V8 upgrade....well worth it
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

You need minimum of 18" wheels for the v8 brakes Thumbs Up

Well worth doing if you plan on changing discs anyway Thumbs Up

thks alan

did wonder if my wheels were going to be too small

will replace them with the oem vented discs

see a lot of reports in not fitting drilled , slotted discs due to them collecting dirt , stones etc
