I've just sent an email to GAP to see if there is any functionality in an IIDBT for other cars or if it's totally VIN locked. If it has some functionality, I'd guess something like this would be on the list but not CCF writing/reading etc.
I'll pipe up when they get back to me.

why do they make it so hard on a transit it was just hold both clutch and brake peddles down and turn on the ignition

The IDD will do it. I didn't think it was a VIN locked feature, but I could be wrong

It's not a VIN locked feature - they detail what is / isn't VIN locked on their website.

How about startiing an IID/Nanocom Evo map like in the D2Boys Club so that we can help each other out.
maybe a mod oon here will see this and point Martin towards this post.
