Timed climate control

Can you guys help please, picked up my d4 yesterday so thought I would try the timed climate control, set it to come on at 8am.
Looked out at 8 and heard it start up, went out about 8.20 to see what was happening, started it up but fans blowing cold and window screen still icey.
How does this work? What am I doing wrong.
Cheers

John after 15 mins of running, it's gone from 4-50°C, so blown air is definitely warm Thumbs Up

Thanks for your replies guys
Is there a certain about of diesel you need in the tank, I have about 90 miles till empty?

I hear is start, it quites down a bit after 10mins, no smoke for under bumper.
Don't no what I'm doing wrong.

You need according to the book a minimum 1/4 of a tank of fuel, mine doesn't smoke, perhaps a bit of vapour till it's gets up to speed.

Seems 1/4 tank of fuel makes no difference on mine, Saturday morning, 2 degrees, remotely started the FBH, fifteen minutes, there or there abouts went out to it, FBH warming everything as it should, fuel gauge on the lowest point, with a range of 55 miles remaining.

If your battery is low then it will stop/won't start so you may have enough fuel and have set it to go at the right time but it's not firing up or starting and stopping soon after for this very reason. Thumbs Up
