Orange warning triangle
Hi,
Just coming on to a slip road after leaving a motorway the orange warning triangle with the exclamation mark in the middle, came on for a few minutes, I have read the owners manual and it is very vague. After a few minutes it went off and am unable to fathom out why.
The car is a Disco 4 XS 2013.
An help or guidance appreciated.

If it comes up again, press the OK button on the steering wheel and it should tell you what the triangle means.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Hi,
Did try to find fault on the "message centre " but was nothing there, but this was after the engine had been switched off for a while. Do the faults clear by switching off ignition? If not can I still read the fault now?

Could have been windscreen washer fluid low, it can come on briefly when getting low and you go on a slight slope, when it settles it will go off again, mine does this on one road when it is getting near low level warning then eventually stays on when.MY18 RRS Autobiography Fuji White

RAW,
Absolutely spot on, it was the washer level. Never had an orange light on in four years but now realise that pressing the OK button tells you the problem
Many thanks for taking the time.

I had exactly the same 'issue', this forum makes me paranoid about every slight noise and warning light.
I was in lane 3 on the M5 when the orange warning light came on, I expected it to be followed by loss of power and a bang as the crankshaft let go, I was already working out my credit card limit when I checked to find it was the washer level!2012 - 8 Speed D4 HSE in Indus Silver with surround cameras, adaptive headlamps, privacy glass, rear entertainment, 20" alloys.

I had the same problem too with warning light coming on and then going off again. Eventually traced to washer fluid. In my case it wasn't an incline that caused it, it was a long tight 30mph slip road bend onto a motorway. I guess the centrifugal force moved the fluid to one side away from the sensor.
These warnings are ok, but you have to be on the ball, press OK and read the corresponding message whilst driving. Not always the first thing that comes to mind if you're not used to it and not always convenient !Gary
