Dreaded hand brake module

Firstly Happy new year !

Decided today after reading through the how to guide to take a crack at reseting my hand brake module after a few hours crawling under the car I managed to get the screws out of the cover , but I cant get the lid of , or should I say , I cant see where to get any leverage to get the lid off .

Any pointers would be gratefully received

Keith

When i had to do my epb i started with a screw driver positioned as in the pic.
Pivot it on the bit of steel bracket and start at the corner. work around the bottom then the top edge should come off easy enough

With the best will in the world Keith, if you're struggling to get the cover off, you might really struggle unjamming the damn thing when you do. Big Cry
Great things when they work but they're a disaster waiting to happen if you don't keep them adjusted properly.

Good luck with it.
