Auto lights/wipers and windscreen replacement.
Beginning of December I had a new screen fitted unfortunately not an LR/Pilkingtons. Now the wipers sometimes don't activate where before I felt they were over sensitive and the lights are almost permanently on. So the question is what cause this? Could it be the screen or something autoglass have done?==================================

Depending upon the type of sensor fitted, some require a jelly pad between the sensor and the screen.
Needless to say, the screen doesn't come with a new one
If it is this type, the fitter will have had to remove the old pad, possibly discolouring it leading to reduced sensitivity to both light and rain (or they may have just left it on the old screen and not bothered their to change it!)
I'd take it to one of their workshops if there is one local and explain the problem. (I know that they've closed a lot of the workshops and changed them to glass collection depots for the fitters only).
Hope that helps

Thanks Gav, that does sound like a possible explanation.
I have already contacted Autoglass and it has been passed to the warrenty department.==================================
