We've had 130% of normal snowfall here in SLC, and its been freezing, so we baled out to Arizona on Boxing Day. Here is our back garden Christmas day, it was 11f when we left (loads more snow since).
Glen Canyon Dam, Page AZ
Antelope Canyon - what an amazing place!
Heading to Arizona
Chandler, AZ.
Christmas Tree made of Tumbleweeds
Tucson! A balmy 74f 8)
The off to Pima Air & Space Museum - amazing!
Snagged the last spot on the Boneyard Coach tour

Saguaro National Park - straight out of the Wild West!
Pinal Air Park just north of Tucson
Heading back North
Flagstaff AZ
Monument Valley - snow & fog so no views
And i got to have some Navajo Frybread - Yummy!
Moab
Great trip all in all, good to defrost for a bit.
Landy soldiered on as always, making the huge drives a pleasure. One issue we had was in an area of extreme cold the fuel gauge stopped working - reading ---- miles of range. It was about -20c, seemed to clear up when it got warmer. Also lost a headlight bulb and keyfob qas not detected a coup,e of times - possibly a new battery needed for it.
For an aviation fans i'd recommend the trip
Cheers.'80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

Great photos A bit confused why an ANA 787 is there with the rest of the retired birds...16 D4 Landmark

THE original D4 spotter
The 787 was the 2nd prototype. Tonnes overweight, it was never intended to go into service after testing was complete. Does look odd seeing it next to all the old warbirds though!'80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

When you see pictures like these it just makes you want to live in the US. What a great trip 17 Golf GT TDI Tornado Red
BMW 5 Series Touring
Cheers all - I only posted a selection of pictures, there are hundreds more There were loads of planes I'd only ever seen pictures of before, amazing to see them in the flesh. Great selection there.
Shame it was cloudy, but i made the best of it. For the boneyard tour you are on a coach with tinted windows, so photography is a bit challenging - if anyone does the tour my advice would be to sit on the left hand side of the coach '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!
