Front fog lights

Hi all. New member today! Just upgraded front grille on 2005 disco and now looking to install front fog lights. I've read that i can cut holes in existing bumpers and no need to enable in software? so my question is..... can anyone recommend where to obtain everything i need to do it i.e. the lights, loom, switch. ?
Have i assumed correctly that behind the existing light switch, the wiring is there for front fogs?
Cheers Smile

Welcome, adding spots is on my list as well. If you take out the drivers side headlight (right hand drive)there should be two unused plugs there. One for the spots and one for parking sensors. If they are there it's supposedly very easy to do.

You're looking for this behind the drivers headlight:

If you have those two connectors, you also need to look for this showing you where to cutout on the inside of the front bumper:

And once you bought all the bits, you need to drill out the bumper and fit everything:

And all for a couple of lights you'll maybe need to use a very few times a year for a short period of time.

I wouldn't bother, I've not used my front fogs in two and a half years.

You can also do the Halo mod and use them as DRL's so you'll use them all the time. Wink

Ive used mine once in 2 years, only last week in fact, but when you need them and you have them its nice, they also look quite smart.

Thanks for the replies. Will look for those connectors in next couple of days.
I know they probably won't be used much but i just think it looks better than the blank bumpers!

Or fit the osram fogs, they have built in DRL and cornering lights.

There's a thread on here about fitting them, they need a little fettling IIRC

Or just fit some DRL's or even fit some driving lights if you want something light shaped in there that might be useful.
