playing music from iPhone - very quiet

only just tried it at the weekend but bluetoothed my iphone to play music

I thought there was an issue as could not hear anything then turned up the volume.

normally I have the dial set around 15-18 on the CD or USB. For the phone I had to turn it up to 45 - this is OK I guess but when SWMBO got in and selected the CD without turning the volume down it almost blew her ears out, I got it in the neck of course.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Picked up from a similar recent thread on here, plug your phone into iTunes, there is a setting where you can adjust the volume, I need to get the wife to do hers, blows my ear drums if I put the radio on after her iPhone has been connected.

Ive noticed that on mine as well, very low on BT, but if I connect via IPOD port with a lead its fine.

I found this until i turned up the BlueTooth volume on the iPhone.
Connect the iPhone via bluetooth so something is playing then turn the volume up on the iPhone.

Plug it in to iTunes, top left hand corner, little slider button, normally set at its lowest.
