The Sat Nav in the D4 isn't brilliant at guiding you to your destination using the best route. However my query is this: why does the Sat Nav sometimes take a while to initialize? Today, for example, I drove for two hours using the Sat Nav. I stopped and switched off the engine for 5 minutes while I delivered a present for someone. The car was never locked. When I started it again, it took several minutes for the Sat Nav to come on again, all the while it said "Sat Nav is initializing".

Yeh agree with Pedro. Maybe caused by where you were and difficulty receiving satellite signals.
Mine has never done it. Gary

Shouldn't be, there's usually at least 4 in view at any time. Dave
