Transmission Heat Shield Removal - How to?

I'm about to change my sump pan to a metal one and new filter also the mechatronic sleeve. How do you remove the heat shield and selector cable? Is it just 4 screws and the selector cable? I don't want to screw any alignment up with the selector cable. Is it a easy job to do? Any tips and suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
