Engine management warning but no faults???
Alright guys
Looking for some advice. Dont know if anybody else has had this but car was running sweet. Stopped at a carwash to get the winter crap of the car, anyway came out of carwash no poblems problem then restarted the car after coming out of shops and the engine management warning amber light is staying on but getting no faults and car is still driving as was with no loss power or any black smoke from exhausts. Think I need to get a code reader but was wondering if anybody else has had this.
Cheers

As you haven't bothered to fill out your profile you're making it somewhat difficult for anybody to help or offer advice.
Could I suggest you complete your profile as this will take most of the guess work out of your hoped for response.Mods:

You have obviously since updated your profile to save face.
The guys on here are pretty good at helping but for you, with your attitude, you may struggle.
Good luck with your problem.Mods:

What a nice, friendly bunch we all are this evening...
You have an EGR issue. Give me a shout if you want them blanked off My D3 Build Thread
I was having intermittent engine management warning without any noticeable loss of performance. One day on one day off and numerous combinations of this. After being followed by a mate they told me I had a flickering brake light bulb. Changed bulb now no fault. Coincidence? Maybe but worth a try before spending a fortune on electrical diagnostics.

Have you tried changing the brake light switch, can cause all sort of weird symptoms and may have been the reason of flickering brake light.
Yes I had changed this pedal switch a few months ago which did Sort out loads of faults HDC, lowering suspension and more. Seems I had a dodgy bulb this time which I have changed and not had an engine management fault since. I think the brake light circuit causes numerous fault messages. Thanks for the advice.
