From what I read on line:
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/ar...s-mpg.html
It would appear that the DPF can be legally removed with an apparent increase in MPG. I've wilfed around the net for a company that will do it on a MY 12 D4 to no avail.
The question is:
Is it a reasonable step to take and can one of the boffins with a BBS box of tricks be able to reprogramme the ECU so that it doesn't throw a wobbly?

Hi Bill, Did you ever get a reply on this? I'm trying to figure it out at the moment with my D4.
Cheers
