The dam has water, places you can cross are knee deep and other places you need a sub.  I got stuck on the crest of one of the many inclines , the truck went into extended mode but it was stuck, thanks to Alfwarez  plus one recovery strap we got out. Heine, it is definitely a place where you can do a lot but you have to be a group, and note its R80 to get in. Lets do this soon.
How does first weekend Oct 6 or 7 sound, its way ahead and that gives us a better chance not to get "appropriated by the calendar police."

Baben cant do it on Sat, I need to check if I can trade my Sunday pass for a Saturday pass.

The problem with the quarry is that unless you go there when it is raining it is quite dry . Most of the muddy patches only occur when the water table is high enough . But it should still be fun

Richard - I was on for Sunday, but while you lot were ing about deciding on a date, my gorgeous wife (she reads the forum too  ) conjured up an appointment that had apparently been set a month ago but wasn't in my diary.....
I am gonna give it a try Saturday, but as I mentioned, I have a birthday party on at 12, so if I make it, it will be for a very short time. I might just pop in and have a laugh at you lot, then off home and eat cake
