But the real down side to this keyless entry is when you also run a D3 without it and you continually try to open the locked door. I'm sure I'm going to be arrested for trying to break into my own car one of these days.

Get a n other to try door or have key on you opposite side if body and really lean out to get to door so it's as far away as possibleD3 gone

Or use the button in the door handle & watch for the mirrors/listen for the clunk.
Would all depend on whether the tea leafs are just jamming the signal, leaving the car unlocked, or extending the range of the key by piggy backing the signal.

Agreed but that's just an assumption. Easy to detect if your car's not activate the locks, not so easy if the key range has been extended.
