Whirring noise after engine shut-off.
Help or advice please: After engine shut-off, even after only a minute of running, there is a whirring noise coming from the engine. It's not the fan. The noise comes from the box between the air filter and the washer filler bottle. There are metal hoses entering the box. It runs for about 3 minutes with the engine off and is noisier than usual. I also detected some burning smell coming from the engine after a short run and am thinking the two might be connected?D3 2007 HSE Zermatt

Thanks KV! So it looks like I've got nothing to worry about? I'm hoping that the burning smell was simply that it hasn't been used for a while? It was 'king cold last night when I noticed it!D3 2007 HSE Zermatt
