Hazard Button on Smart Key Doesn't Operate Hazards??
Been trying to work out how to get the smart key to operate the suspension and I realise I need to get the hazards on for it to work.
However pressing the button on the key does nothing. If you press it 3 times to get the Panic alarm on, it works, but I can't get the hazards to come one.
Both keys the same.
Any ideas?

Button on the remote is only for panic alarm
You need to activate the hazard button in the car before using the key fob to raise / lower the carG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

It's in the manual! The Hazard symbol on the key is to activate the Panic Alarm, not to turn on the hazard lights
To change the suspension height using the Smart Key, the vehicle must be stationary, all doors closed and the hazard warning lights switched on. To raise the vehicle, press the Lights and Unlock button together. To lower the vehicle press the Lights and Tailgate Release buttons together. D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Oh, I feel an idiot now.
So I walk up to the car, open it, put on the hazards, shut it, then use the key fob?
Shame, I thought it could be used without having to go into the car.
Shame the smart key can't be used to out the hazards on as well.

Thanks. Will try tomorrow after switching the hazards on first from inside the car

I assume it's a safety issue thing. They don"t want someone picking up your key while you're under your vehicle and lowering down on you and crushing you to death . . . a bit like the interlock with the tailgate D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Tried this morning and it works. Just a shame it can't all be done from the key.
Anyone found a way round it yet?
Thanks all
