After having a look at a couple of these now these are for changing from the original wheels but the wheels where on when i got it they are 22" with low profile tyres which i hate you cant even go up a kerb with them so I would like a bit chunkier tyre but as they are already 22" im not sure of how chunky a tyre I can go with.......

Why not get some 19inch wheels and tyres? You'll be suprised how much the ride improves.
Wheel and tyre packages often pop up on here, if not then try Ebay or site sponsor, MMJ.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
Sold Volvo XC90 R-Design (known as Basil)
Sold - D4 HSE (Known as Gerty)
No longer the Old Buses original owner
231,000 miles and counting
05 S manual owned from March 2005
D4 Face lifted
Still original injectors and turbo
V8 Front brakes
BAS Remap, Allisport Intercooler and deCat
EGRs blanked
T-Max split charge
Hanibal Expeedition rack
Prospeed ladder
Duratrac tyres
IID BT
BAS FBH control
Excellent suggestion 19" or 18" make for a much improved ride, much better off-road, and no significant adverse change in on-road handling, as some have suggested, in my experience.

Why do people do it? Less is more. Personally I think a D3 / D4 just about gets away with 20 inch, but anything else, particularly aftermarket wheels, make it look pants - a real drug dealing chav car if you know what I mean.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
