Coolant consumption
How much coolant consumption do you consider as normal?
Mine dropped to MIN in 7 months / 10000km from new. Topped up to MAX at that time. Now after additional 4 months / 3000km the level is at about 1/3 between MIN and MAX. And yes, I do check when cold.
I was told at the dealer that 2dl top up between services is normal, but service interval is 26000km so my consumption is higher. Should I request a pressure check? I have more than two years of warranty left but if it is an issue, I would like to fix it as soon as possible.

I had my last D4 for two years and never had to add any coolant! A pressure check seems like a good idea as yours is still under warranty D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

Mine needs a top up occasionally, typically once, perhaps twice a year. It did get a pressure check a while ago when I reported it but no problem was found. . It doesn't really cause a problem, it's just one of the not-as-regular-as-they-should-be checks.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

When they do the pressure check, do they just apply static pressure from a closed system and watch if the pressure drops, or they look for leaks all around the piping?
The second option would require quite some part removing to make all concerned subsystems visible.

Update: I had it checked, the same result as what JonM said: no problem found. They said it can evaporate through the filler cap

No, it should not evaporate as it is a closed system. The caps have been known to leak though.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
