Inñer steering rack joints sold in pairs by site sponsors advanced factors very easy fix ISTR about £60.
Not quite sure about the others, poor discription. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thats what i feared, I'm sure i had them replaced last year, will have to dig out the receipt and call the garage in the morning.
Is inner steering rack joints a posible DIY job?

If you had them replaced last year they should be covered bybwarranty
Inner rods are easy, just needs a pair of stilsons and preferably tracking afterwards, one hour labour max at a garage. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Great post and answers
I'm going to dig out my mot advisories and ask the same question!
One thing I've learned since owning mine and joijning this forum is that just because you don't understand the mechanics language, doesn't mean you can not DIY if you have a basic toolkit.
