Removing panel below steering column
Quick question - how do I remove the lower panel under the steering wheel? Don't want to just start tugging at it as I'm bound to break some clips want to get at the OBD port so I can relocate it
Thanks

Tug hard ...Almost guaranteed that the right hand clip will ping off into oblivion though 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Tip: put a small blob of grease on the clips before putting the cover back on, it will come off much easier next time. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
Is it the same method on the latest MY2016 models? I have a 1yr old D4 and I've been trying to remove that panel to throw some wires in there, but it's pretty happy staying where it is and I don't want to pull too hard incase I break something.2016MY Discovery 4 Commercial , 3.0 SDV6 Auto, Santorini Black, side-steps, 510s.

The 2 clips are located near the top of the panel and the bottom has 2 lugs that locate in slots so you need to pull from nearer the top. It does need a bit of force to remove especially on the first go - use fingers not screwdrivers then spend a happy 10 mins searching for the right hand clip D4 GS 12MY
