might be a plan then to see if we can try and organise a day somewhere

i non damaging greenlaning event or what ever the consensus is

haven got a clue of where there are any places that are allowed to be driven on

heard that quite a few have been shut down, due to some irresponsible 4x4 owners running riot and causing a lot of damage so the byways etc are shut

shame as these are the people who give 4x4 owners a bad name

go to an annual land rover event , near hertfordshire , around 50-60 landies , all models go on a greenlane day , some hard some easy , bbq and great meeting other landy owners

There a few of us around ashford way now. Myself, Russell and bradders that I can think of, Im sure theres a few other too! True Grip off road are good but we need like 15 cars to get a reasonable price to hire the place for the day. I think Bradders has done a few local green lanes so he may have a better idea Thumbs Up

thks

sounds like a good place to go but see what u mean about having the numbers, so it doesn't end up an expensive day

would kent country council have all the routes that are permitted to be driven on , but as always best to see them first and as u say bradders may have ideas ref the lanes

as none of us want an extreme damaging course but a good fun one, also getting stuck is all part of the fun

will also give me the opportunity to learn how to use the different systems on the car, like the terrain response system etc, only ever known series landies and the vcu system in the freelander

never owned a disco before and good to pick the brains of other d3 owners in how they work etc

having a great relaxed fun day

even better getting pics of the landies , stuck or not Laughing
