Hi
D4 is due a service - she'll have done 80,000 miles and is coming up on 7 years old, so I know that it's a 'B' service and timing belts.
I would love to use Disco Mikey, but he's in Dundee and I'm in Glasgow and I'll struggle to get the car to him, get back to work and then do the return visit to pick up. His rep on here is fantastic and he's done some excellent work for a couple of friends - it's just the distance is beyond my work situation right now.
I've used Monarch in the East End of Glasgow a couple of times - I've found them to be very good, but have heard of a few members on here who've had less success with them.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me re a good indy? 2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze

I have used RR Glasgow before to get codes read but seemed quite knowledgeable about my D3. It's owned by Graeme Schoneville. May be worth a look for if you can't get to Mike. It's Schoneville Saab/RR Glasgow but as I say nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. Chris

Tempting......how would it work? A few questions:
1. How does insurance work?
2. Where would the handover take place?
3. What about the return?
4. Would I have a courtesy car for the day (and what about insurance on that?)?
5. How do I pay for the work?

Prestige in Paisley also get a good name, NellyD5 and AJM both have experience of them

Used Prestige to do 7 year service and timing belts - £600. Off-side rear suspension arm replaced (thanks, Waranty Direct) and corroded brake pipes treated.
Paul was really helpful. It'll be even better to use when the west of Scotland isn't buried under roadworks, making any journey about 3 times as long.
Anyway, one very happy D4 driver. And somewhere to take wife's Evoque when the dealership service plan comes to an end.
