Megaflush or will a simple ATF change do? |
|
At around 70k miles, my 60 plate D4's 6 speed box has started go a bit like SWMBO - Takes longer to warm up, lumpy, not a smooth as it used to be and reluctant to change.
As it's always been LR serviced before I got it I assume it's probably still on the original ATF. My question is, would a megaflush be too much at this stage, and should I just replace the oil (which I can do myself), or would that be a waste of time, and I should go straight for the flush?
Joking aside, it's definitely not changing as smoothly and readily as it was - I don't think anyone else would notice but I have.
Cheers
