Hi
I am looking for help in connecting my Parrot 3200.
I have tried wiring it up using the Autolead 06-124b and Autoleads 06-426B Parrot 3200 adapter, but cannot get the radio to mute.
Can ANYONE tell me the correct mute pin on the acsessary plug on the back of the radio. Or has anyone got a wire digram.
Thanks
Rab.

When I fitted my Parrot I went direct to the fuse box and battery, in through the steering tunnel and fitted an independant speaker under the dash. I spoke to the technical dept at parrot who recommended this - and not via the radio mute D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Thanks n1cktdv6
But Autoleads cost me £70, and I will blow the this thing up, before I give up. Get it working or kill it trying.

Hi RMB,
You didn't mention which stereo your D3 has, but have a look at this other thread.

I'm not sure about the Harmann Kardon stereo, but mine mutes perfectly via the Parrot Universal Mute box (the blue thingy) supplied with the system....

Hi PaulP
Sorry, I have the Harmann Kardon stereo, I installed the above autoleads as per instructions, got the Parrot to work it just won't mute. Just cant find any instructions, any where. Just my luck the shop where I got cables SIO Comunications has closed down .
PaulP can you recall what pine you connected the mute cable to, maybe that is the prob.
Thanks.

Terry's still around

Excellent service and knows what he is doing. Had my Parrot installed twice by auto electricians and finally gave up on it. Terry (SIO) installed it properly and it has been excellent.

I didn't use the mute cable.....the Universal Mute thingy did that bit automatically....
Try looking here (not sure if it'll help or not)
