I agree with Graemes thought that the switch should be with or close to the existing height control switch, I use both at the same time when off road.
Even when wanting to lower / higher the car using LLAMS only it seem logical to have it close to where you are used to
I'm happy to put together another PDF if I can get the info & pickies. 2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

latest mods - note switch location for LLAMS (height adjustor); neat fit I think and saves losing a 12V in the console (other obvious spot).
New MTR's on RRS alloys - looking forward to using them in action - Victorian High Country over Xmas / New Year!

Nice work
I like to watch the 4x4 info screen when selecting a different height setting on the LLAMS controller.2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

I'll take some photo's tomorrow Graeme,
But it shows a red current suspension level line which immediately moves either up or down when the LLAMS controller switch is moved, the air suspension then adjusts the level of the vehicle to re centre it.
This shows that your kit fools the CPU of the current level and makes it adjust it to suit.
It's pretty cool, as you have mentioned it takes 10 / 15 seconds before the level is adjusted.2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

Keeping the suspension up
Graeme, Nice work with all you've done. I've been following the conversation without much (no) input, but now keen to know:
1. How much for the kit
2. Do you have anyone in SA (Adelaide) that could install and what would be the cost.
Whilst I have some mechanical and electrical competence, I'm seroiusly not keen to play around with the wiring in such a complex beast as the D3.
Cheers,

Thanks Rich, I was not aware of the display.
Hi Martin,
Thanks for the vote of approval.
Davis Performance Landys sells the kits for $594. I don't know anywhere in Adelaide but as DPL will supply workshops at a trade price, if you are considering a workshop you could get them to buy it which should help keep the installation cost down. Any workshop familiar with the D3 should not have any problem fitting the kit in less than an hour including mounting the switch. Perhaps you could ask Davis Performance Landys for a recommended fitter and how long it should take to fit. Having a workshop buy the kit may help me by way of possible future sales. In the new year I will probably contact various workshops to let them know about the kit.
If a person can remove the drivers side kick panel and the panel above the pedals, they should be able to find and remove the 2 suspension ecu end connectors (#1 & #4) and fit the short extension loom that also has a plug for the module. Rich has produced very detailed instructions with lots of pictures which shows exactly where the suspension ecu is located and what the connectors look like, as well as fitting the switch to a D3 and doing the calibration. You might like to have a look at that documentation before deciding not to fit one yourself.

all, mine was fitted on Friday to my D4HSE, in Adelaide, by Sovereign Autos on Angas St. Geoff there owns a D3 and I highly recommend them, for all servicing. My brother is having his D3 fitted with LLAMS by Sovereign this week. They should know LLAMS back to front by weeks end!!
My only issue is I'm not getting heights as expected - only plus around 15-18mm and plus approx 33-35mm (rather than plus 30 and plus 50). Graeme, any hints or is it just every vehicle is different??
But otherwise all is very good!!

Here you go Graeme
Access height ( Standard)
Off Road height (Standard)
Standard height
This is the green line position when the LLAMS switch has just been set to - 20mm, approx 10 - 15 seconds latter the air suspension CPU moves adjusts the line back to centre. Thus achieving a 20mm drop in height.
Again but the LLAMS switch has just been set to + 50mm. Thus achieving a 50mm rise in height in all modes of Standard height selection.

Thanks Rich, for both posts. That display could be more interesting than the road ahead sometimes.
My suspicion is that during calibration off-road height mode hadn't reached full height, possibly due to the compressor taking a rest. Unless a tape measure was used, the installation would have appeared to have been successful. Switching between off-road mode height with Llams OFF and normal mode height with Llams +50 should have the vehicle at the same height. Use of Llams +50 whilst at off-road mode height will provide a little less than a full 2nd off-road height increase - about an extra 40mm rather than 50-55mm.

Thanks GraemeS and StornawaySA. I wasn't previously aware of Sovereign Auto and, given my Disco has just come out of the 3yr warantee period, I'm keen to explore alternatives to Solitaire. I'd be keen to know how much they charge to fit the LLams and also your experiences if you are using them for servicing. Sounds like I need to pay a visit!
I've taken out the Allianz 3yr extended warrantee, so it would be good to have independent experts in my court if I ever need them re a warrantee claim (not that I've had any issue to date).
My new Quantum super camper arrives tomorrow after a 9mth wait, so my focus is a bit distracted from the Disco right now.
Cheers,

Martin, PM me your contact details - my brother has a fully kitted our D3 and just picked up his Eclipse (Quantum's big brother) last week. I'll let you know what Sovereign charge after this Friday - as mine was done with other bits and pieces; The 3 of us should all catch up for a beer.
