It doesn't go down to the bump-stops but it is low. I sometimes use it when my wife's back is really bad to get the vehicle as low as possible to make it as easier for her to get out. The RRS with 265/70-17 tyres wouldn't go right down due to the tyres fouling on something, but the only action was a message asking that the obstacle be removed from under the vehicle. Selecting normal mode height or setting my switch off cleared the message - we tried both.
Edit: I forgot that the module in the RRS was set to lower 30mm, which was the prompt to change to only 20mm and also be the same as high speed height. Perhaps the RRS did lower to the bump-stops!

Graeme,
I'm sure this message is only shown when it pops up into extended
Some of the guys using the Matzker on it's lowest setting (i.e. lower than normal ride height) often get extended if they try and drop it down to access height without putting the Matzker back to normal first.. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

It was I who selected both lowered heights on the RRS and it didn't try to raise until one of the switches was moved to the normal setting, and then it only raised to the correct height. However it was an 06 RRS and so could have out-of-date software, or later s/w that doesn't go to extended. Anyway, now the module is using -20mm and my D4 with Q093 updates still doesn't misbehave so it seems OK.
On the topic of using both set of switches, the raise and lower switches are acted-upon quickly because the ecu knows that a height change is definitely required and applies a 'fast filter' (LR's term) to the sensor values whereas my controller's switch settings are delayed by about 5 seconds due to the self-levelling logic employing a 'slow filter' to be sure the incorrect height is persistant. However my switch setting is applied quickly if a raise or lower request is also processed, so -20 and access mode in quick sucession (with either 1st) will lower immediately the total amount. Nothing strange but perhaps could be used to advantage, although of no use when surprised by a rough washout at normal height that requires off-road height yet travelling too fast to select off-road mode and just have to hope there's still 5 seconds left for +50 to be actioned. Quite possibly in those circmstances, +30 would have been in use hence not so bad if the last 20mm can't be obtained in time. As self-levelling isn't active under hard decelleration, +50 may not be actioned in time anyway.

Hi CJM625,
I'm still waiting on the looms to surface so they're not available quite yet.

There was a delay in the loom manufacture due to a technical difficulty. The factory has now promised them for tomorrow which means I could have them by the end of next week but more likely after the w/e. The kits should be available within a week after I get the looms.
The distributor is still keen after demonstrating the kit with its new switch for 3 heights in the RRS at a 3-day 4WD expo.

Thanks BUDD05. I'll be glad when I hear that the looms have finally arrived in Oz.
There's a pic in my gallery of the new rotary switch. It's bulkier than the original toggle switch but the only way to provide all 4 settings.

The looms left the UK yesterday. Progress can sometimes be in little steps.

I hope they are not coming by ship! (Via the Panama Canal )
I'd rather not have to fit my adjustable rods again before I go bush again.

Looms are now in Oz and tomorrow I get the privilege of paying for them. Not too bad really, as no deposit was required and no charge so far for the trial loom. Hopefully the take-up will be good enough to order more looms before long, otherwise its been a lot of effort for just one batch of kits even assuming I recoup my parts costs.
Almost there!
