IIDTool trouble - SORTED
Just received IIDTool BT before the weekend, but I don't get much out of it.
It do read and clear fault codes, but that is pretty much it. I have it registred and activated it so everything should work.
Trying to enter the CCF meny I only get this error message "Operation Failed E0".
Trying to check operatin of the FBH returns "Operation Failed E7"
Have not found anything during a websearch on this messages.
Also noticed that in the upper rihght corner in the app it is printet with read letters "IGN OFF" regardles if the ignition is off, on or engine running.
I have sendt at e-mail to GAP puth have not got any reply yet.
Any thoughts on my problem and possible solutions?

You should get a reply as they are behind us time wise.
Sometimes if the FBH hasn't fired for some time you will need to try it a few times.IID PRO

Have you down loaded and read the instruction manual?
Have updated the firmware to the latest version? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I'm sure they'll get back to you soon. Patrick and his wife have just had a new baby, so he's supposedly out of the office until 31st October.
It may be a little frustrating, but I'm sure you'll find that the support from GAP is second to none D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT

110 - Even sadder parting

Hello Erik,
Patrick anwered you by email last Monday at 8:39 Am, check your spam or junk folder
Here is our answer:
"Hello Erik
You seem to have a bad connection at the OBD connector which prevents proper communication. I suggest tightening the terminal:

Still no luck with this.
The terminals seems ok, but have tried to tighten them.
Same error show when trying some of the advanced features.
Still no change in the ign.off in read letters, but spotted that if ign. off and trying some of the features in the app I get a message to turn the ign. on. When doing so the message closes and the process continues until to the same error messages as before. Although the app states ign.off it clearly responds to ing. on command.
Any new ideas are welcome.

Sorted!
I have e-mailed some back and fort with GAP, and made some measurements of voltage on different pins in the UB2 contact on request of GAP. They quickly concluded that my IID Tool probably was faulty and sent me a new item without any hesitation. I received it yesterday and tested it out this evening …... it worked as a charm!
Excellent customer and technical support!
I would highly recommend GAP anytime.
The GAP team are faultless with their customer service in my experience too Mark.
