Just Tow came back to me when I ordered the detachable tow bar and a variable height plate to state that they are not compatible.
They checked with Towtrust who also said "a drop plate would also not be an approved setup, the towbar flange plate has the two variable setting for the vehicle already and lowing the towball would put over pressure on the pivot points of the mounting bolts."
Now what to do? Maybe stick with the OEM afterall? 2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)

I've gone and done it. Was starting to fit this towbar and I only went and lost one of the chassis inserts inside the chassis rail
No amount of fishing can get it out again so i was wondering, if anyone bought one of these for fitting to a D3, do you still have the unused inserts that you're willing to let go for a few beer tokens ?Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem
