Hi all, i just collected a 2014 hse lux to replace my old 2004 hse  but it doesnt have a towbar or electrics - anyone here able to supply or suggest where best to go? I'm happy to install myself.

Got my electrics from Dan at Duckworths, site sponsors.
The bar itself came from eBay ! Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

Search for tow bar electrics on ebay the correct electric kits are quite often on there and they are plug and play  Discovery 3 se gone

Mine wasn't plug and play, worked of a fashion till activated.

Mine worked out of box but then mine is only a D3 Discovery 3 se gone

Normally all works with the exception of not cutting the reverse park sensors and not disabling the auto height change when selecting rock mode etc.
In other words all the lights work but you have to switch off reverse parking sensors until you get them enabled. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Ahh on my kit there were wires to connect to disable the park sensors when reversing  Discovery 3 se gone

Not strictly correct - the electrics will work 'plug &play' but to disable the reverse parking sensors when you have the tow electrics connected (& therefore a trailer or bike rack fitted) you need to tell the car it has tow electrics via one of so computermabob thingies D4 - Stornoway Grey

I am looking at changing mine from the two 7 pin sockets to the single 13 pin one. Does anyone know if I will need to have anything changed in the CCF files or should it just be a straight swap as at present it does disable the reversing sensors.
I know how sensitive the Disco can be if you don't tell it
