About what I found, assuming we are talking still about CSK. I had to take the car back to have it "finished", and had to point out lots of areas that hadn't been treated. He hadn't even dropped the spare. My dealer later pointed out areas where waxoyl was sprayed on mud. Most of it had flaked off anyway since then. Crap job basically and should have gone to Rustmaster, unfortunately are no longer

There's a very good specialist company in Johnstone just outside Glasgow, he does a really thorough job, wheel arch liners out etc, but it may be a bit far for you Wink

What about the site sponsor:

http://ccautomotive.co.uk

Seems to get good reviews on defender2.net.

I haven't used him, but the guy was well into rust prevention when i had my Td5 and went on the forum. Looks like he has started a business from it.

Ukraine 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

Just a question, why bother? The chassis etc will outlast the lifetime most people will keep their Discovery.

I've owned mine 12.5 years since new and my chassis etc is in pretty good condition. It certainly hasn't made me think I should have got it done.

Ive seen a few pics of rusty D3 on their inner sills, not common but they are out there if you look od google images, looking at the sill design its a rust trap waiting to happen.
I replaced my sill covers a few months back and was disappointed at the amount of rust and the start of rot behind them, give it a few more years and we will see rust being an issue on untreated cars.

I will see if I can find the pics of mine.
