V8 Disco 3 - slight misfire when starting

Hi all - my 2005 V8 Disco 3 has a slight misfire when starting cold, it quickly goes away after about 10-15 seconds. Sounds almost like a diesel then stops.

Took it to the local Landis specialist for a service, they couldn't find any fault codes or indications as to why it does it, figured I'd ask here if anyone had experienced anything similar.

It can also be quite sluggish from a cold start, I live on a fairly busy road so often it is "go go go" when I pull out from the driveway. Pressing hard on the accelerator often results in a second of hesitation before the v8 gets going.

Had the same, was a dodgy coil. No fault codes or check engine light. Also check your plugs. I've still got a slight miss sometimes and occasionally get lean running codes, no idea what's causing them.

Have been told it could be the fuel pump on it's way out, but haven't changed mine yet.
