TL;DR
* bought disco3 after 20 years of disco 1 service
* engine went bang in 27 days
* lots of money wasted, but finally got refund:

Must have:
* electric/heated pack ( seats, mirrors )
* leather, ( black pref )
* 7 seater
* parking sensors
* cruise
* tinted/privacy
* tow bar
( so really SE spec and above, maybe XS with extras? )
* full service history
* under 140k mileage.

black much preferred!!!!!

Low tax ( 55/06 preferred )

Wotcha got???

not a lot mate, lost out on the first disco disaster! managed to get a nice little refund from the tax man though so around 8k absolute tops.
