Roof Box
Hi folks,
After much research and deliberation I think I will be going for the Kamei Delphin 340K box. It appears to have really good write ups and I'm sure it will look good on my 2012 Disco 4 HSE.
Thanks everyone for your advice and pics on the subject.

I'd be wary about buying a single sided opening box, especially on such a high vehicle as a Discovery.
Although it might be ok on a smaller box it would be a nightmare on my 680L one.

Excellent choice. Had ours 6-7 years now across my scoob, Disco3 and now Disco4. On Thule aero bars.
Bias it to the left for access and can still fit 2 bikes on the roof.

I have the (I think) same box - certainly Kamie Delphin - and I am very happy with it. But its not been on the Disco yet, with such a large boot (compared to my previous Evoque) not needed it. Even on the Evoque I positioned it on one side for easy access.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

I agree the Disco 4 has a large boot but that is now occupied by a growing 17 week old German Shepherd puppy!!

Main reason for most to have a box I think.
We have 2 labs in the boot (in a dog bag). Put luggage on the back seats and fling the kids up in the roofbox. Much quieter. 2012 D4 HSE for her

Only problem I have is the not so wee puppy chews the rear seat belts. Maybe he should go in the roof box!!!

You want a large DogBag.
Two adult labs in there (only one visible). Keeps all the hair and mess off the carpets. Avoids chewing. Very quickly folds into the rucksack it's supplied with (once you've got the knack!). Great product.
(And the "door" covers the lower tailgate for them jumping in and out).
