Lightforce
I am looking for a pair of Lightforce 140 or 170 HID driving lights, but trolling around the tinterweb just points me down under (Australia) is there anyplace I can get them in the UK?

170's on the rack and 140's on the grill. They are halogen but I've got some adaptors to convert them to HID's.

Have a look at Russell's D4 he has 170's on the grill. I take it that's were they will be going. He also made a bracket to fit them as well. Only issue I have with mine is a dark spot right in the middle of the beam. When shining off into the distance they are fine but when they focus on something at close (ish) quarters you can see the dark spot. It's like the Mysterons from Capt Scarlet if your old enough to remember that. I'll see if I've got a photo. The good thing about them though is you can change the filters on them very easily as they just clip on and off. They do a spot, flood and a combo flood/spot. They also come in different colours as you can see on mine. Don't now if the HID version will have the dark spot or if you get it with the flood filter.

You can just see the dark spots in this photo. In real life it is a bit more noticeable. Great lights though

They are very, very bright, but have a disadvantage over the newer LED lights in that they take a few seconds to warm up to full brightness. Once bright they will throw a decent beam for over a kilometre.
