Rear near side seat HELP

Hi, seat 6 or 7 on the near side has jammed in the flat position. The lateral / most near side catch doesn't seem to be releasing. Any tips on freeing up the mechanism?

Is it the seat base or the seat back that is stuck?

Well, it's a very small world. D4 was in Kwik Fit today after getting 2 punctures to the front wheels and wheel alignment. A certain Disco Mikey comes upon the vehicle and gets the back seat working but very difficult.

Had to put it flat again to get wheel set home. The horizontal bar on the locking mechanism had bent subtly and wasn't clearing a flat bolt head.

Bit of bending later and all is well Thumbs Up

Cheers DM Thumbs Up
