[Wanted] D4 heated steering wheel switch and ECU
Bought myself a H/S wheel and can't get it working. I've tried everything regards circuitry and have come up smelling of whats thrown on roses. Gutted.
The only thing I can think of (with some help from the guys on here) is the switch may be faulty or the ECU. The ECU is the same as the top one in this image. The switch unit I assume comes as a whole piece with the phone controls and voice control too with the metallic tips to the switches. If anyone has either of these items please PM me with a list of body parts I need to post in exchange. Many thanks.

It has worked for a very short time and I have checked continuity which is good so I believe the wheel to be good. The initial problem was the power feed to the clock spring which when pushed fully home the whole thing worked really well for about 5 minutes. I drove to the shops and stopped for half an hour then nothing. It hasn't worked since. Checked fuses and continuity throughout and still nothing. I can only guess it's the switch or ECU. Losing faith again at present as I've done nothing else all day and it still doesn't work.
