Surfing the other D4 forums
Surfing several D4 forums seems that the UK is the country with the highest cases of engines blocked for problems with the bearings / crankshaft sized...
May be because you have the steering wheel on the wrong side?
Seriously writing, I think that in other countries, even in Italy, is much less frequent .....

I was in Rome last weekend ( a jolly for SWMBO ) and most of the D3/4's I saw were police vehicles, Defenders also by the army. I think they have at least 3 levels of police but the Disco's were used by all 3 services.
Also saw a very nice large FIAT 4x4 that we don't get over here in UK.
