I was a little concerned, as only bought the car in September. My last vehicle, I had for 10 years, so knew inside out, and MoT never bothered me.
So when the tester came out and said, "no problems at all, nice car you have there", it was quite a relief.......! Psycho by name, chilled by nature....!

Mine passed on Monday as well, always nice when they go straight through. Alternator packed up Thursday though so replacing that was enough for one week
