French emergency

Left home this morning on way to south of France

Everything good and got to tunnel in planet of time to get coffee whilst taking advantage of free offer of electricity ( driving PHEV). Only to find car had CAM fault and won't recognise charger. Home On my way! Works fine

Get on tunnel and head for over night I'm Dijon before going to cagnes sir mer tomorrow

When unpacking at hotel swmbo says " you did Kabul yes bags didn't you ? ". Nope. Thought you did

Cr@p. Neither of us did


Anyone know if we can but English tea diem near
Nice or will we have to suffer Lyptons?

Well I've been to Kabul and whilst the mountain views were nice it was irritating to have so many trying to shoot us, including taking fire from those who were supposed to be on our side. The D3 looked quite shabby quite quickly. Oh and the rear screen didn't survive the first bomb blast. I guess we drank tea though.

In France near the Geneva border is a town called Gex



they have a great selection of UK food including proper tea!







they even have Bacon and cumberland / lincoln sausages! in the frozen section with warbertons crumpets/muffins and Pucka pies.

Great post and very timely - we are off to Spain in the MX5. There should just about be room in boot for tea bags Laughing
