Please let me know if it is not appropriate to post this here, but I have just had what I think is a good quote on ATR's from Wiltshire Tyres in Chippenham, I'll paste the email below for you to peruse. Rest assured I'm not connected with them at all but I have used them on my last car for the last couple of years and found them to be very good.

-------------------------------------

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your enquiry.

The price for the tyre you request is as follows:
· 255/55 19 Pirelli ATR @ £154.02 per tyre
The above price includes new valve, balancing, fitting, VAT and disposal. Also we will come to your house or work and fit the tyres at no extra cost.
Let me know if you require anything else or if you would like to go ahead.
Regards
Tom

Be even better if they started to offer them in 255/50 20"
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Apart from the red lettering on the tread surface, I can't see a difference. They have LR on the sidewall, but they all have for a while now. Thumbs Up

Explanation i've just had from Goodyear is that the down rating from S to Q is due to impending new legislation.
You can run with a mix of S (180 Km/h (113 Mph) & Q 160 Km/h (100 Mph) but would only be covered speed wise for the lower rating.
Typical as i'm just about to buy another 4 to match my existing 2 so i can put new rims on the car

Scorpion ATR

I bought a set of these from Black Circles but had difficulty getting hold of them. They had to be imported from Europe so I imagine calling in to your local Kwik Fit wont find you any

They seem fine but havent tried them on anything testing. Noise levels are good
