bluetooth failure - reset onboard computer?

Hi there,

wife has just left for a long trip - I will be catching up soon, but in the meantime she cannot pair her phone to the car. Neither the car can see a bluetooth device, nor can her iphone see the car, nor can my son's phone see the car/visa versa. All the list of memorised bluetooth devices seem to have been cleared too.

I've just had a service, so I suspect it's something that they've done, but obviously cannot take it back to the garage now that she is heading abroad.

Does anyone know if there is a way to soft/hard reset the onboard computer, which would reset the bluetooth side of things and if that's at all possible without going via a Land Rover garage?

Many thanks for any help,

r.

You could try a hard reset. There is a guide in the Wiki
 D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership Smile

Did this work for you?

Mine lost all tethered devices last night and despite going through the connect new device / entering pin codes etc it then immediately loses any new device too

The only way that I resolved this was to turn the car off....get out....lock it....walk away and come back 10 mins later....

Which is hardly ideal. I never tried the full reset as mine seems to be intermittent and the getting out and getting back in seems to work.

Mine does this for me. Can be very annoying. Like you said the only way to sort ( at the moment) 8: to turn off let it go to sleep then start up again.

Wondering if it just needs a new module?
